Peace Ties
A symbolic gesture of planting an olive tree as a sign of Peace. Visitors and participants of the East Beat 2024 festival in Thermisio (Argolis, Greece) wrote messages of peace on white strips of fabric, which were then tied to the olive tree, connecting it to a support column.
A participatory work included at East Beat, a group show curated by Nadja Argyropoulou and The Callas (Lakis & Aris Ionas) (Lakis & Aris Ionas) in Thermisio, Argolis — a celebration of life, friendship, peace, and interspecies justice.
